Nutrition Workshop: On 9th September the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Badminton ran a Nutrition for Badminton workshop for all players and parents. The workshop was well attended and highly interactive, with participants being asked to consider what makes up good nutrition - both in general and specifically on tournament days. Did you know, for example, that protein takes longer to digest that other food types so eating lots of protein immediately prior to a match can lead to discomfort? Talk to one of our coaches for further information on nutrition, or if you with to arrange an appointment with the Sports Nutritionist.
