Herefordshire U15 Bronze Tournament
Herefordshire U15 Bronze provided a great opportunity for many UWPC players to compete.
In the XD final Brandon Adams and Beth Hambling squeezed past Chad Warren & Aimee Whiteman 24-22. Chad used that disappointment to perform to a consistently high standard to win the boys singles event. PC team-mates Joe Kamara and Hugo Simmonds provided semi-final and final opposition. Katie Poole also won a bronze in the girls singles. In the final match of the day Brandon and Chad achieved a clean sweep as they came from 13-19 to win the boys doubles.

Congratulations to Will Kitching on becoming the Welsh National Champion. Will played against a strong field, winning in 3 sets in the final.
Brandon Starts the Year with a Boom!
Brandon Adams recently competed in the West Midlands U15 Silver tournament with 34 players entering from across the country. He played extremely well, coming through the rounds to play, and beat, a worthy opponent in the final.
To add to his very successful season Brandon also competed in the Northampton U17 tournament. He won his way through to the final to play a very hard fought match but lost 21 – 17 to come away with a silver. In the same tournament he played doubles with his partner from Herefordshire and again won through the rounds to come away with another silver medal in the final.
The season is going extremely well for Brandon and he feels like he is improving and performing well. His achievements have also been recognised by the Hereford Times, who have named Brandon their Sportsperson of the Year!

Chad at Lilleshall Gold
Chad enjoyed a very successful Gold Star tournament at Lilleshall. In singles he gained a bronze medal and went one better in doubles with a silver. Both defeats were against the top two players so provided a useful yardstick for future development. As always thanks to Andy for his support at the event.
